Waterpolo: Malta suffers fourth defeat

Malta's national waterpolo team suffered another heavy defeat in the qualifying round of the waterpolo Worl League organised by FINA. The Russians had obtained another easy win at Tal-Qroqq winning 18-5.

The Maltese were dominated with the best result coming in the second session, in which Malta scored half of its goals yesterday. Malta's goals yesterday came from Jordan Camilleri, Andreas Galea, Jake Muscat and Ben Plumpton.

Malta's national team guided by coach Karl Izzo will now play their last two matches in the group at the national pool Tal-Qroqq.

On 19 th February Malta will host Germany and terminate their committments against Hungary on 12 March. Malta lost 23-9 against Germany and 24-8 against Hungary in the first legs.
