A 12-year-old girl was grievously injured on Sunday after she was hit by a pick-up truck in Naxxar, the police said.
The accident took place at around 9am on 21st September Avenue.
The girl was hit by a Mitsubishi L200 that was being driven by a 51-year-old man from Mosta.
She was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
The police are investigating.
