Mario Buhagiar was the overall winner of the Horace Micallef Trap Trophy, an event that was organised at the Southern Shooting club and that included two qualification rounds of twenty five clay targets each followed by the Final Stages.
Buhagiar was joined on the podium by Stephen Vella, who on the other hand had to settle for second place after he lost a shoot-off following the Final Stages. John Marmara finished this competition in the third place.
A perfect straight of 25/25 hit targets was registered by Stephen Vella.
The six Finalists in the Bib number order according to their qualification scores were;
Stephen Vella with the score of 47/50, Angelo Ciappara 44/50, Mario Buhagiar 41/50+3, Christopher Farrugia 41/50+2, John Marmara 40/50 and Michael Grech 39/50.
