Media.link political editor and a long-standing voice on the PN radio station, John Zammit, has resigned.

This was announced in a PN statement signed by both PN Secretary General Clyde Puli and Zammit himself.

Zammit was the political editor with the PN media for a number of years under various administrations.

He gave notice of his resignation from the job, two days ago.

The PN said Puli and Zammit met yesterday "in the spirit of the long personal friendship between them" after Zammit submitted his resignation to "seek new pastures".

"John Zammit remains committed 100% to the PN, which is the only alternative to the corrupt Labour government," the statement read.
