A 50-year-old motorcyclist suffered grievous injuries in a crash that took place in Msida on Thursday night.

The accident took place at around 11.40pm in Triq Testaferrata.

The police said there was a collision between a Chevrolet Kalos that was being driven by a 46-year-old man from Ta’ Xbiex and the SWM RS300R motorcycle that was being driven by the 50-year-old, a Croatian man who lives in Naxxar.

The motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Police investigations are ongoing.
