Two persons were seriously injured in a fight that involved seven people in Zabbar this afternoon, the police said.

The fight took place in Villabate Street at 4pm.

The injured persons are a 46-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman of Cospicua.

The other persons involved in the fight were a 43-year-old woman of Vittoriosa, a 23-year-old man of Zabbar, a 24-year-old woman of Qormi, a 53-year-old woman of Zabbar and a 23-year-old man of Cospicua.

The police are investigating.
