Can Artificial Intelligence lead to more responsible gaming?

How Artificial Intelligence can assist in more responsible gaming will be the theme of a half day morning conference being hosted by NOUV and Tomobox, in collaboration with Microsoft and SIGMA at the Microsoft Innovation Center at Skyparks on Thursday 28th February between 8.30am and 13.00hrs. Responsible gaming and compliance have become a pinnacle of operator brand integrity, as regulators and operatros are aiming to make online gaming safe and fun. 

The conference "Artificial Intelligence in Gaming: The Responsible Way", will also showcase Israeli company Tomobox, a winning company at the Sigma 18 startup pitch out of 200 candidate startups. As a winner, Tomobox was offered a 12-month residency at the Microsoft Innovation Center which is considered a springboard to attracting Malta-based gaming operators.

"We are thrilled to be collaborating with NOUV and Microsoft on this upcoming seminar to educate operators about the potential that AI has in the gaming industry," said David Sachs, CEO of Tomobox.

"In fact, we will be showcasing SafeTrac, an innovative software product driven by Artificial Intelligence, that helps compliance officers in gaming identify in real-time, any player with complusiveness or addiction to the game, red-flagging players and assisting them to play more safely," he added.

The speakers at this conference will include Hon Silvio Schembri, Malta Digital and Innovation Minister, Andrew Naudi, Partner at NOUV, Baruch Har-Lev, Vice President Research and Innovation at Tomobox and Dr Yanica Sant, Senior Legal Counsel at the Malta Gaming Authority.
