CEO of the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools Mario Gafá resigns

CEO of the Foundation for Tomorrow's Schools Mr Mario Gafá submitted his resignation from his position on 15 February, a government statement read.

"Under his leadership, the FTS finished the project for the construction of a new primary school in Marsascala, which was unveiled Wednesday, and has contributed to the progress of important project deliverables such as the VET labs across Malta and Gozo, school extensions, and the planning for the construction of new schools, such as those in Qawra, Msida and Rabat (Gozo)."


The Minister has thanked Mr Gafa for his commitment to the foundation and the service he has provided through his role since 2017.

In his resignation letter, Gafa highlights that his energy and drive have begun to subside, and for the good of FTS and government, tendered his resignation to allow others the opportunity to take up the CEO position.
