Discrediting the Labour government abroad, as Nationalist MEPs are doing, is a direct attack on the whole country, Alfred Sant writes today.

In his bi-weekly blog, Sant says that it is incorrect that the country’s representatives open fire against Malta, as this encourages a “wide and disproportionate” response.

“Criticise to your heart’s content your country’s government in your own country; but in your discourse abroad, stay prudent,” he writes.
