Due to the hail-storm which hit the Maltese islands a short while ago, the first FA Trophy quarter-final match between Pietà Hotspurs and Gżira United, at the Hibernians Stadium, was abandoned by referee Emmanuel Grech in the 88th minute.

The score was 1-1 when the referee suspended the proceedings. 

Today's second quarter-final, between Mosta and Birkirkara, has been postponed to ensure the safety of the players and public, which is the foremost priority, while the inclement weather also rendered the pitch of the Hibernians Stadium unfit to host any further footballing action this afternoon.
