A 56-year-old man from Birzebbuga was grievously injured on Tuesday afternoon after he fell from a height of three storeys, the police said.

The accident took place in Triq il-Haddiem, Marsa, at around 1245pm. The man fell while he was doing some work.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance and was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
