A man and a woman were injured on Thursday evening when the car they were in overturned in Zebbug, the police said.

The accident happened in Mdina Road at 10pm.

The car, a Mitsubishi, was being driven by a 26-year-old woman from Siggiewi who had a 28-year-old man, also of Siggiewi, with her.

The woman suffered minor injuries while the man was grievously hurt.
