On Sunday 10th March on the hill leading to Ġnejna Bay limits of Mgarr Malta, Island Car Club organised the first round of the Enemed Hillclimb National Championship. Twenty drivers competed in various different classes. Fabio Baldacchino emerged as overall winner, followed closely by Mauro Portelli and Darren Camilleri.

The second round of the Enemed Hillclimb National Championship is going to be held on Sunday 7th April at Pennellu in Mellieha.
