Malta suffered the fifth defeat in as many matches in the FINA LEN World League 2019 going down heavily against mighty Hungary at the National Pool at Tal-Qroqq.

Hungary outclassed the locals winning all sessions with the contest practically finished by the half way line with the Magyars already enjoying a ten-goal lead.

Jordan Camilleri with three goals was Malta’s best scorer. The other goals came from Jeremy Abela, Aurelien Cusin, and Dino Zammit, whilst Matthew Zammit scored a brace.
