A 55-year-old British man was traced in Gozo and arrested by the police after an international warrant was issued for his arrest.

In a statement, the police said that Criminal Intelligence Unit, with the assistance of district police, has been working on the case for the past days.

The man is to be charged in court in the coming days.

The police did not say the locality where the arrest was made and what charges the man is faving abroad.
