The third and final round opens on Sunday with the Rabat vs. White Hart game. This will be followed at 11:00 am by the top match between Sliema Hs vs. Qormi Daikin. The importance of this game can be seen clearly, when one looks at the table.

On Sunday, Qormi Daikin followed up their 5-0 mid-week victory versus White Hart with a 4-1 defeat of Rabat. Although the score may indicate otherwise the reigning Champions had to fight hard for the two points. Rabat even had the audacity to take the lead through Kevin Micallef which lead was quickly cancelled out by a goal from Qormi captain Steve Tanti. Eventually Qormi Daikin came out on top with further goals from Zak De Giovanni, Keith Calleja and Luke Bajada.

Following their 4-1 mid-week defeat at the hands of Sliema Hs, Floriana Young Stars returned to victory beating White Hart by the same score. David Evans with two goals, Jamie Mifsud and Mark Camilleri scored for the greens while White Hart finally broke their duck with Karl Tua getting their first goal of the campaign.
