A Bangladeshi construction worker was seriously injured on Friday morning after falling from a height inside a construction site in Gzira.

The accident took place at around 8.15am in Triq Depiro, Sliema.

The man, 32, from Gzira, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Duty Magistrate Monica Farrugia is leading an inquiry.

The police are also investigating.
