Two Colombian men were taken to hospital after a fight that took place in St Julian’s early this morning, the police said.

Both Colombians, aged 34 and 27, suffered grievous injuries, the police said.

The fight, in which a pointed instrument was used, took place in St George’s Road at 6am.

The police said that six men were involved in the fight. One of the Colombians was injured when he tried to intervene to help his compatriot.
