SAN ĠILJAN TUM INVEST 10
SIRENS GREENTUBE 6
(1-1), (5-0), (2-3), (3-1)
Holders San Ġiljan TUM Invest confirmed their superiority as despite lacking their regular goalkeeper Jake Tanti and Darren Zammit, they defeated Sirens Greentube to confirm their quality after winning against Sasko Popovski's team earlier in the week.
Unlike the win in the final of the Enemed Cup, San Ġiljan held more the initiative as apart from the early minutes of the game, Sirens were never in the lead. They were in the game only in the first session as after they were dominated in the second session, Sirens only tried to limit the damage as they couldn't salvage anything from the game.
Matthew Zammit and Dino Zammit showed again their quality alongside the other players, while young goalkeeper Thomas Micallef filled in perfectly for Jake Tanti. Sirens only made the score more respectable in the last session after they had an average of a goal per session.

VALLETTA VIDEOSLOTS 17
(3-1), (4-5), (4-4), (3-7)
The result is surely a surprise but as how the game evolved the story is differenti. Sliema were depleted missing established players like Jerome Gabarretta, Mark Meli and Nicholas Bugelli while their goalkeeper Joseph Sammut got injured during the game, leaving Sergio Afric with very few options.
Despite this setback, a win is a win and it is surely precious for Valletta in their quest to avoid bottom position. Michele Mifsud was their star player scoring no less than seven goals. They never ended a session in the lead during the game, apart from the deciding one, as they turned the tables scoring seven goals in the making.
As the situation was already precarious for Sliema, they also lost Michael Cordina who was sent-off, while Ryan Mock ended the game earlier than his team-mates.
