Two persons have been held by the police after they were found in possession of tools that had allegedly been stolen.

The police they had received a report, at around 1.55am on Sunday that two people were acting suspiciously inside a car in Triq Sir William Reid, Gzira.

District police and members of the Rapid Intervention Unit went on site and spotted the two persons.

The tools were found during a search in the car. They were held for further investigation.
