A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a crash in Xewkija Gozo on Friday evening.

The accident happened in Mgarr Road at 7.30pm.

The police said that the crash involved a bike driven by a 35-year-old of Xewkija and a Hyundai Accent driven by a 45-year-old man, also of Xewkija.

The biker was taken to Gozo Hospital for treatment.
