A man who was reported missing to the police has been found safe and sound.

He is Carmel Spiteri, aged 74, and who was last seen near the Birzebbuga parish church on Friday at 6pm.

He was wearing a brown jacket, blue trousers and a grey beret.

The police said that he was found this morning, safe and sound.
