It’s been four days since Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca’s term in office as President of the Republic came to an end, and she was succeeded by George Vella.

But the official website of the President of Malta still shows Coleiro Preca as the President of the Republic.

There is no mention whatsoever of Vella on the website. Even the President’s diary page is empty of appointments, when this newsroom, like the rest of the media, received a list of events scheduled for this week.

After the publication of this report, the website was made "unavailable" by MITA, which is responsible for all websites related to the president's and government work.
