Two persons were injured in a traffic accident that took place in Zabbar on Saturday evening.

The accident took place in Convent Street corner with Santa Tereza Street at 8.30pm.

It involved a Renault Clio driven by 54-year-old of Zabbar and a Skoda driven by a 43-year-old of Marsascala.

The police did not give the gender of the two injured persons, both of whom were taken to hospital for treatment.
