Sixty-seven organisations on Saturday will hold an event in remembrance of Lassana Cisse, who was murdered in Birżebbuġa on 6 April.
The 42-year-old Ivorian man had been shot in what is believed to have been a drive-by incident which also injured two other people, who have since been discharged.
The 22-year-old from Guinea and a 28-year-old from Gambia both live in Birżebbuġa.
The 67 organisations are calling on the police to work actively on the case to bring the perpetrators to justice.
They are also urging the authorities to ensure that all members of Maltese society feel respected, safe and protected.
They will be laying flowers in memory of Lassana in Hal Far on Saturday, 27 April at 11am.
