Ecovis Malta has announced the appointment of Andrew Sammut as Head of Advisory within the firm. Sammut has joined Ecovis Malta with the remit to further expand the firm's Advisory Services division.

Andrew Sammut has extensive consulting and industry experience, particularly in assisting clients in solving business issues, from strategy to execution. He specialises in corporate finance, valuations, financial and business planning, due diligences, and business recovery services.

Sammut has significant hands-on experience, thanks to his direct involvement in managing various large-scale projects relating to the raising of finance, capital market transactions, compiling business plans, and feasibility studies for bank and EU funding.

Furthermore, he has also managed a number of financial due diligences to ensure that businesses are being transferred at a reasonable value, that financial information is held accurately, and that risk management objectives are met.

"We are delighted to welcome Andrew to our firm," says Anthony Vella, Ecovis Malta's managing director. "Andrew's extensive knowledge will add value to our current and prospective client base, thus further enhancing the offer of our already established audit, accounting and tax services. In today's dynamic world, clients are experiencing significant challenges, and prospects for growth. The support we can provide through our advisory services can, amongst others, act as a catalyst for change in their modus operandi."
