Three men were injured on Monday evening when a flag-pole they were bringing down fell on them, the police said.
The accident took place in Mahatma Gandhi Street, Fgura, at about 6pm.
The flag-pole was on a roof on a private residence.
The three men, aged 77, 49 and 41, all from Fgura, were taken to hospital.
The older of the three suffered minor injuries while the other two were grievously hurt.
