Prime Minister Joseph Muscat yesterday participated at an informal dinner with EU leaders to assess the outcome of the European elections and the future of the European Union as well as the process on the nominations for the new heads of European institutions.

At the end of the meeting, the Prime Minister said that the discussions were fruitful and balanced, a statement issued by the Department of Information said.

The EU needs to take decisions based on the Union’s diversity and a vision to unite the different players, said the Prime Minister.
