Bjorn Vassallo and Chris Bonett on Tuesday announced that they will contesting for the Presidency of the Malta Football Association on 20 July.

Outgoing President Norman Darmanin Demajo announced that he will not be contesting ending his nine-year spell at the helm of the MFA.

Bjorn Vassallo in the past was CEO and General Secretary of the MFA and Chris Bonett is an ex-Vice-President of the MFA.
