The Education Ministry has clarified that students of the Victoria, Gozo primary school will not be transferred to another school, and that proposals along such lines were axed by the ministry.
The ministry recalled how year after year the ministry increased funding for the school, including funds for maintenance, which is being carried out regularly. This year the school also had an investment for a new outdoor facility, new turf and a securtoity system.
In the meantime, the ministry recalled how almost two years ago a site had been identified for the construction of a new Raba primary school and the Foundation for Tomorrow's Schools, under the education ministry, has filed the necessary development applications.
The issuance of permits is now being awaited and work is ready to start as soon as the necessary permits are in hand.
