A woman was seriously injured after the car she was in crashed into four parked vehicles in Qormi, the police said.

The accident took place in Valley Road at 6.35pm on Thursday.

The 70-year-old woman of Qormi was in a Ford Fiesta driven by an 84-year-old man of Pieta, which crashed into two Toyotas, a Smart and a Mazda.

The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
