The four Labour MEPs have chosen to sit on European Parliament committees with great relevance to Malta, the PL said in a statement.
Miriam Dalli, Alfred Sant, Alex Agius Saliba and Josianne Cutajar will be part of different committees to reach as wide a spectrum of sectors as possible.
Head of delegation Miriam Dalli will again be part of the committee for the environment, public health and security. She will be a substitute member of the committee on civil liberties, justice and internal affairs. At the same time she will be vice-president of the Socialists and Democrats group.
Alfred Sant will be a member on the economic and monetary committee and the petitions committee, while also serving as a substitute member on the budgets committee.
Alex Agius Saliba will be a member of the internal market and consumer committee and the petitions committee. He will be a substitute member on the employment and social affairs committee.
Josianne Cutajar will be a member on the industry, research and energy committee, and a substitute member on the transport and tourism committee, and the regional development committee.
