Over the next few days, 110 delegates will be descending on Malta to participate in the BDO 2019 EMEA regional conference.

BDO is a professional and business advisory services firm represented in 162 countries, employing over 80,000 people in 1,500 offices worldwide. Forming part of the global BDO network, BDO is also represented in Malta. BDO Malta provides end-to-end corporate and business advisory services, assisting companies in driving their business towards further growth. With over 40 years of practice in Malta, the Firm assists clients across a wide range of industries, supported by solid technical expertise, deep market insights and an international business mind-set plugged into the BDO global network.

BDO holds a series of annual regional conferences across the globe, where Managing Partners and CEOs from BDO member firms come together to discuss the network's vision and strategic objectives. This year, the conference will focus on BDO's Global Dream: It's time for BDO to Lead.

The EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) regional conference will kick-off on Monday 8th June with a Board Meeting for the regional leadership team while the plenary sessions will be held on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th July.

This is the first time ever that BDO will be bringing its regional EMEA conference to Malta and the prestigious event rides on a previous conference held in Malta three years ago which gathered around 80 International Liaison Partners and New Partners for a two-day conference.

BDO's EMEA Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Trond-Morten Lindberg will open the conference, followed by keynote presentations from BDO Malta CEO, Mark Attard and BDO's Global Leader and CEO, Keith Farlinger.

Prime Minister of Malta, Hon. Joseph Muscat, will be participating in a panel discussion with other senior BDO senior executives, outlining the Government's vision and how Malta is leading the way across several areas.

BDO Malta Chief Executive Officer, Mark Attard stated:

"BDO Malta is extremely proud to be hosting such an important conference in Malta. The BDO brand has been present in Malta for over 40 years and we're delighted to reach yet another important milestone for our Firm - hosting this first EMEA regional conference in Malta. We wish all delegates a productive stay and we look forward to welcoming our colleagues in Malta."
