Malta Tourism Authority enforcement officers this morning cracked down on people renting out deckchairs on two Gozitan beaches without the appropriate permits, which are issued by the Authority.

The enforcements were carried out at Mgarr ix-Xini and at Xwejni.

The offending deckchairs and umbrellas were duly confiscated.

The MTA said it will not be tolerating such illegalities on any beaches in Gozo or in Malta.
