A woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a car in Sliema, the police said Sunday.

The accident happened in St Paul’s Street on Saturday at 5.30pm.

The 69-year-old Sliema resident was hit by a Toyota Vitz driven by 51-year-old Libyan resident in Sliema.

She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
