A biker was seriously injured when he lost control of the bike and crashed in Mosta, the police said.

The accident took place in Valletta Road at 5.45pm.

The 46-year-old man from Slovenia lost control of his Kymco bike and crashed.

An ambulance was called on site to take the man to Mater Dei hospital for further treatment. Later he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.
