Balzan bowed out of the UEFA Europa League when they were beaten 1-0 in Slovenia by NK Domzale.

The FA Trophy holders had lost a spectacular first leg 3-4, seven days ago at Ta' Qali and were thus eliminated 3-5 on aggregate.

Domzale obtained the goal that matterd on 21 minutes through striker Slobodan Vuk. Domzale had more of the ball and more attempts at goal and deserved their victory.
