European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will be visiting Malta on Monday.

He will be coming to Malta for two days, during which time he will hold meetings with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at Castille.

Juncker will also meet with President George Vella  in Valletta on Tuesday. During a ceremony, he will be conferred with the Honorary Membership of the National Order of Merit in the Grade of Companion with Star.

Juncker is ending his term as President of the Commission and will soon be replaced by Former German Defence Minister Ursula von der Leyen
