Elektra Ltd, in collaboration with Delta Light, this July hosted design professionals at the Royal Malta Yacht Club in Ta' Xbiex. The event marked the release of The Lighting Bible Anniversary Edition, showcasing its latest designs in celebration of its 30th anniversary. First published in 1997, The Lighting Bible catalogue combines technical information with "inspiration" for professionals and end-users, alongside an overview of projects by Delta Light. The anniversary edition of the catalogue features an updated front cover and more than 1,100 pages of new designs, technical innovations and project images.

The relationship between Elektra and Delta Light has flourished over a time span of 18 years. Over these years it has been possible to work hand in hand to offer unique lighting solutions on a project by project basis, backed by the latest product development, lighting technology and supported by a knowledgeable team of experts in the field. Throughout the years, Elektra established strong relationships with design professionals, clients and suppliers/manufacturers which has helped to enrich the light design experience, offer an elevated level of service which have in turn resulted into successfully executed lighting projects.

Over the years, Delta Light has built an impeccable reputation as a manufacturer of architectural lighting and a purveyor of state-of-the-art lighting solutions. Its Bible reflects exactly what the brand has stood for over 30 years: quality, innovation, reliability and user-friendliness. This reference book is the embodiment of Delta Light's craftsmanship in bringing you "Pure Lighting Pleasure" whilst being an indispensable tool in any design office.

We invite you to discover among other things the following ranges from the brand:

  • REFLECTIONS, presented for the first time at the Interieur Biennale in Kortrijk. Reflections comprises 3 new collections, a series of new adventures in luminaire design. A mission to improve the relationships between architecture, interiors, its users and visitors. A poetic expression of craftsmanship, light, technology, texture, shape and mood. With these new collections Delta Light wants to help create the right atmosphere, so that the experience of every space is filled in a warm and unique way.

  • The first collaboration between Delta Light and Dean Skira resulted in launching the new product range Polesano a new lighting concept designed specifically for urban settings. Polesano offers bespoke solutions for pedestrian pathway, roadway, park, square, façade or landscape settings. The concept needed to provide maximum flexibility for the designer while maintaining the same aesthetic for the entire system, regardless of the area. Polesano is a striking combination of modularity and flexibility that allows the designer to meet the specific functional and aesthetic requirements of any project. Integrating video surveillance, Wi-Fi, speakers or other Internet of Things elements is a next step in the development of Polesano.

  • 'XY180' is a 3-piece lighting collection designed by OMA. A collection inspired by a fascination with point, line and surface; key architectural elements. The floor, wall and ceiling lights are meant for individual and shared workspaces but can also be applied to domestic and public interior spaces. The tube lights create diffuse ambient lighting, while the spotlights provide focused lighting. By exposing the light and allowing it to pivot, the fixture becomes the main feature as it shifts into multiple configurations; a product that contributes to the creation of space, not only by the light it emits, but also by its physical presence.

On the occasion of the latest Lighting Bible release, Elektra Ltd once again extends the invitation for all those seeking to illuminate their spaces, be it residential, office, commercial or HORECA to get in touch for a bespoke lighting proposal.
