A Qantas Boeing 747 chartered to fly around the world landed at the Malta International Airport, to the pleasure of aviation enthusiasts on the island, aviation website simpleflying.com reports
The 747-438ER touched down in Malta on Sunday, according to aviation website simpleflying.com, and the plane had been chartered by Constellation Journeys for a world tour.
Simpleflying.com reports that the tour is 20-days long, and passengers were spending two nights in Malta. They also intend to land in Barcelona, Cartagena and Easter Island, among other areas.
The website says that tickets had cost around $15,000 USD a person rising to $50,000 for business class and first-class.
