The Health Ministry said that EpiPen, a medicinal used for severe allergies, may be bought from the Mater Dei Hospital pharmacy as from Friday.

The medicinal is out of stock from private pharmacies, the ministry said in a statement. The government has intervened to buy the medicine, which will also be available at the Gozo General Hospital.

The pharmacies in the two hospitals are open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 2pm and on Saturdays from 8am to noon.
