The police said they will be arraigning a man in connection with a string of thefts that occurred five years ago.

In a statement, the police said forensic evidence led investigators to arrest a man from Mali, aged 24, who will be charged later today before Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit.

The man will be changed with the thefts on 5 December 2015 in Swieqi, 8 December 2015 in Msida, 13 December 2015 in Gzira, 16 December in Birkirkara and 20 December in Santa Venera.
