Transport and Infrastructure Minister Ian Borg told PN MP Kevin Cutajar that it was "humanely impossible" to answer a parliamentary question on land expropriations.
The Gozitan MP asked Borg to state how many pieces of land had been expropriated or are in the process of being expropriated since 2013, where they are located, what they are being used for, how many are subject to litigation and how many are pending payment.
Replying, the Minister said that to answer the question would require a huge amount of human resources and time, and it is therefore humanly impossible to do so. "It would be wiser to use these resources on more efficient and productive work," Borg said.
