A man was seriously injured in a traffic accident at 9am.
The accident took place on Triq Dawret, St Paul's Bay, between a motorbike being ridden by a 72-year-old Hamrun resident and a car. The 72-year-old man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
A magisterial inquiry was called and investigations are ongoing.
