A motorcyclist was grievously injured on Thursday morning when the bike she was on was involved in a collision in Msida.

The police said the accident took place at 3am in Tal-Qroqq Street.

It involved a Peugeot Kisbee bike and a Citroen C1, driven by a 32-year-old man from Venezuela who resides in Msida.

The biker, a French woman, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
