Updated (2): Man stabbed in Sliema argument; suspect is 14 years old

A 21-year-old man was found injured on Locker street in Sliema, after an argument occurred in a block of apartments close by.

The incident occurred at 4.45pm, when the police close by saw a man on the ground.

The man seemed to have tried to escape the flat after being stabbed, police said.

While the victim is a 21-year-old male, the alleged aggressor seems to have been a 14-year-old boy, who is also under shock.

Inside the flat, the police found blood. 

The man was taken to hospital to be treated for his wounds after suffering grievous injuries.

The teeanger was also taken to hospital to be treated for what the police said were grievous injuries. 

Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading an inquiry.
