A biker was grievously injured in a traffic accident in Birkirkara on Friday, the police said.

The accident took place in Fleur-de-Lys Road at 6pm.

The biker, a man aged 38 of Xghajra, was riding a Suzuki DL650 which was involved in a crash with a Renault Captur driven by a 29-year-old man from Fgura.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
