Sunday, 5 December 2021, 13:28 Last update: about 3 years ago

Opposition leader Bernard Grech’s trust rating has dropped to 26.5% since taking over for the PN, whilst Prime Minister Robert Abela’s trust rating rose to 51.1%, according to a MaltaToday survery.

The trust gap is at its widest since Grech became Opposition Leader in September 2020.

The MaltaToday statistics show that young voters trust Abela over Grech, however they retract back towards the PN when it comes to party support.

11.3% people will not vote, while those who remain uncertain have dropped from 13.5% to 10.3% over a month. Young voters make up the majority of those who are uncertain or abstain from voting.

Support for PL shows 45.9% whilst the Nationalist party registers 31.9%, according to the MaltaToday survey. ADPD registers at 0.1%. Both the two major parties recorded increases in the month of November.

The gap between the parties stands at 45,000 eligible voters, as shown in the MaltaToday statistics.
