For the fourth consecutive year, the Company received the HR excellence certification awarded by the Top Employers Institute

Lidl Malta, the leading retail chain on the Maltese islands, has obtained the prestigious Top Employers award for the fourth consecutive year. The certification is awarded, following an in-depth analysis and a rigorous evaluation process, by the Top Employers Institute, an international company recognizing HR excellence. For the year 2022 the Company was included among the "Top Employers Malta" and, having obtained the same national recognition in more than five European countries, among the "Top Employers Europe", confirming itself again in both categories.

The Top Employers Institute, founded in 1991, recognize companies based on the results achieved in a survey on HR Best Practices. The survey covers six HR areas and analyzes 20 different topics, including HR Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Training, Wellness and Diversity & Inclusion. The recognition is a further confirmation of the virtuous personnel management principles that have always been at the heart of Lidl's corporate philosophy and which foster the growth and enhancement of employees.

"We are proud to have, once again, obtained the prestigious Top Employers award. Being part of this network allows us to deal with the best practices in the HR field, making our work environment increasingly oriented towards excellence. This recognition takes on an even more significant value in this historical moment in which we are called to face new challenges, demonstrating that our company has never stopped investing in its employees. We will keep on striving to improve our HR processes, recruiting the best talent and investing in our amazing team, which today is made up of over 400 passionate individuals," the Lidl Malta management said.
