A biker was taken to hospital following a crash with a car in Valletta on Thursday.

The police said that the accident took place at Lascaris Wharf at 1pm.

It involved a Nissan Leaf, driven by a 37-year-old man of Birzebbuga, and a Peugeot Tweet bike.

The biker, a man aged 36 of Floriana, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
